New Music

Monday, June 26th, 2006

I’m always on the lookout for new music and new bands. Particularly if they happen to be some form of heavy metal, power metal, progressive, or “symphonic” metal. Recently I found Sonata Arctica and Nightwish, two Finnish bands which complement the American Kamelot quite nicely. Over the weekend I discovered Dragonforce and Wolfcry (British and Greek respectively), these bands are pretty cool and as far removed from the “top 40″ as one can be… hell, I’d say they’re not even in the top 400, but hey, they’re cool to me :)

“Mass,” you’ll say, “no Italian bands?” Never fear my friends. Rhapsody has got you covered. :) If you’re not afraid of songs sung in a language other than English, you might want to check out Mago De Oz, a Spanish band.
Enjoy!

A limerick…

No real reason, just because :)

There once was a man named Mass
Who everyone thought they could sass
He’d enough of this trifle
He bought a big rifle
And said “You all can say goodbye to your ass”
