A Release? Don’t get excited

Been busy with stuff lately, but I’ve not abandoned this project :) Far from it, I’ve been working on it today. Having Zombies on the screen is my goal for this weekend.In the meantime, I’ve a treat of questionable quality for you. You can download my current work, basically the implementation of the player movement and firing.The controls are simple: the WASD keys move the player, the mouse moves the orientation of the player. The left mouse button fires the weapon, the Holy Shotgun of Badass. you have 5 and and a half clips, and it takes 5 seconds to reload.

If you want to download it, test it out, and give me feedback on the movement mechanism, you are more than welcome.

Note that it’s not very graphically sophisticated. I’m not going to spend the time to draw good graphics until the gameplay is there.

Anyway, download it here. Just unzip it in a directory (make sure you keep the directory structure intact). Double click on AOTBMM_debug.exe and you’re good to go.

You can press ALT-Enter for full screen and ALT-F4 to quit.
